Light Baking
I put in a sky light to give the cave a bit more realistic features and lighting. I also messed a little bit with the spot light.
Lighting Basics
I have created and placed the basic lighting for the cave, and now I'm going to do bake lighting in the next tutorial.

Set Dressing the Scene
The placing of the props for the level is easy enough, but I'm still having trouble with the lighting. I like the feel of the assets placed here now because it actually looks like a cave setting.

Final Assignment
I changed up the lighting a bit, and added a couple more props and materials. I will now progress tot he next volume for the next tutorial.
Manipulating Games Assets
Making the cave is really fun because you can take a clone of just one rock and make it look like it is a totally different rock next to it.
Creating A Material Instance
So I took the material from the painted wood and put like a retro red tint on it, and then put it on the crate to give it a cool color.

Creating The Master Material
This video was also review from the Introduction to Unreal Engine 4 tutorial, but I have a better understanding now than I did about making materials than before.
Exporting and Importing Game Assets
I watched the first two videos of this tutorial already as review from the last one I did. I got the concept down of how to |export/import meshes from 3d modeling softwares such as 3ds Max and Maya.

Creating a Toggleable Light
This tutorial turned out to be fun and amazing. The best part about it I think was the building process, or blocking, and just continuing that so I could add material assets. The toggle for the light was pretty easy to figure out, but in general I enjoyed the whole tutorial.
Adding Foliage to the Landscape
I put some foliage on my landscape, it's starting to look like a cool game with a decent background.

Lighting The Environment
I put some light into my room and the world, and it looks so much more realistic now. Also, it's getting fun to mess with as the world gets more complex and beautiful.

Applying The Materials to Our Room
I have applied all the materials needed for the room by selecting elements and placing the material in them, and now I get to create and modify the environment.
Finishing The Painted Wood Material, Using Parameters to Set Up Instanced Materials, and Using Instanced Materials
I only watched the next three tutorials videos, but I understand the basics of making materials, and making them look as realistic and detailed as possible.
Creating Our First Material
Made my first functional material. I had fun with this tutorial because I got to change how the material looks in a realistic perspective.

Material Editor Basics
I watched the video this time, but I now know how to find and choose the materials I need for objects.
Lighting Basics
The lighting is the best thing I have found out about in this tutorial, and I can't wait to learn more about it as I progress in the next videos.
Placing The Doors And Windows
The windows and doors in the blocking phase of the house is making the whole thing come together. Now, I'm advancing to the lighting part of this tutorial.
Finishing the Outside Walls
Finished placing the outer walls and taking out the unnecessary box brushes, and then finish the room structure in the next tutorial.
Importing Static Mesh Assets
It took a bit to figure out how to bring in the mesh with the material asset with it, but it came out okay.
Finishing the Blocking Phase
I finished blocking the house, now I'm advancing to working on the putting the static mesh assets on.

Cutting Out Windows
I am finished with cutting out the windows of the house, and now going to progress onto the finishing phase of blocking.
The Content Browser
I only watched the video for this one, but I got the concept of how to use the concept browser. It can get confusing at times trying to find the right props and materials though, but I can usually find them.
Bsp Geometry Basics
I made a room with using the additive and subtraction tools and techniques. I also added some materials so it wouldn't look too dull.
Packaging Our Project
I just watched the video for the last one, and it was a very interesting tutorial. I liked that you can change the sky lighting by rotating the sky sphere the most out of all the videos I've watched.
Presenting The Scene Through Camera Animation
Creating a Lighting Pass
I tried to make the sky nighttime, but it only went to the sunset time. The lighting was kind of difficult to maneuver with, but it seemed to work out okay.
Creating a Matinee Sequence
Made a Matinee sequence. If you click the "Read More" tab to bottom right, there is a video of proof of what I did.

Using Blueprints
Well, I couldn't figure out how to toggle the light in the blueprints program, but I do understand the concept of making blueprints for thing like lights in Unreal.
Basic Lighting
The lighting in Unreal is pretty cool to mess with. I like that you can change the color of it to make things more realistic, especially the sky light and point light.

Basic Material Creation
I like the fact that the materials can just be placed on the objects instead having to find them in a huge file folder. It makes it less complicated and more organized. I just looked at and changed some of the material properties on one of the object's materials.
Managing Content
I just watched the Pluralsight video for this one, but I understand the concept of managing my content instead of scattering it around and trying to look for it all the time.
Placing and Manipulating Objects
Placing objects and manipulating them is pretty easy to do, and the copy/paste tool is very helpful for creating extras. I had fun doing this video.
Viewport Navigation
Kind of like the last video, it is a better run through of the interface but it is also almost like an intro to the basics of moving around in Unreal.
Interface Overview
Some of the buttons I'll have to get used to knowing how to use, but it'd looks like it will get easier as I learn the software.
First video of the First Tutorial
I now know how to create and open projects in Unreal Engine, and also where to find them in the folders.
